Our iron window guards are designed to deter anyone from trying to break into your home or business.  The standard window guards have the pickets (bars) every four inches.  The enhanced window guards include steel mesh welded onto the pickets.  Emergency release window guards are available in several styles for bedrooms.

What is an Emergency Release Window Guard?

This is a window guard that can be opened from the inside. In the event of the doorway being blocked, this allows a resident to escape out of the window if there is a fire or intruder.

When would I need an emergency release for my window guards?

Most bedrooms have only one door, building codes require a second method of exit. Local building code requires that bedrooms have at least one window that can be used for emergency escape.
